Simmered Cider
2 quarts unsweetened apple cider
sliver of lemon peel
1/2 teaspoon whole allspice
1/2 teaspoon whole cloves
1 stick cinnamon
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and let simmer for 10 minutes. Alternately you could simmer the ingredients in a crock pot. Strain and serve. Makes 16 servings.

2 whole cloves
dash of nutmeg
3 or 4 tea bags
1 cinnamon stick
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1 long strip lemon peel
1 long strip orange peel
Combine all ingredients except tea bags in a sauce pan and simmer for 5 minutes. Add tea bags. Let steep to taste. Strain and serve. Makes 4 servings.

1 ripe banana, sliced
1 C milk
1 C fresh or frozen blueberries
